The area surrounding the cottage is ideal for skiing, hiking, and cycling. A fifteen-minute walk from the resort is a natural swimming area, and swimming is also possible at the dam in Jablonec nad Nisou or at the indoor pool in Jablonec nad Nisou.

There are four lookout towers in the immediate vicinity of the cottage: Nisanka, Bramberk, Slovanka, and Královka.
